Stephanie Cain is a recovering magazine editor and sometimes reluctant writer who still believes in the power of great journalism—and occasionally pens those articles herself. 

As a veteran of the media, publishing, and content marketing industries, she has bridged the styles of written and visual storytelling at The New York Times, national magazines, heritage publications, unicorn startups, venture funds and PE firms, and communications agencies. In her career, she has reported on topics ranging from designer fashion and weddings to healthcare, AI, construction, real estate, and, of course, her beloved world of wine.

Her bylines have appeared in highly regarded media outlets including The New York Times, National Geographic, Fortune, Business Insider, BBC, The Knot, Brides, People, Vinepair, Purewow, and Hamptons, among others. 

She has been a featured expert on-air at CNBC, CBS, Bloomberg, NPR, and various podcasts as well as been interviewed by dozens of publications, including Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Cosmopolitan, and Vinepair. Her on-stage presentations have landed at such notable events as New York Climate Week, Engage! Summit, and New York Wine and Food Festival.  

Additionally, she is a sommelier accredited by both the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (Level III), a non-profit fundraiser, and a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. She holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Columbia University and lives in Sutton Place, in Manhattan, with her husband, Vik, and daughters, Phoenix and Selene.
